Fine Oil Painting

My painting are taken from the beauty that surrounds me -- here in the bluegrass region, the southeastern mountains, and Europe, where I travel in my mind and imagination.   At times, I am urged to paint by an inner voice -- a beautiful figure, a fantastical dream not of this world -  a fairy, a mermaid, an angel or a loving cupid.  Birds and Animals also show up unexpectedly, giving life to the canvas.

Windows With A View

I paint two different types of these.  A scene painted on Wood with a trompe' loeil effect, where you choose the actual view you wish (a special vacation, a lovely garden spot, your old home place) and I will paint it in a window.  The other type of view I paint is an actual window, salvaged from old homes here in the bluegrass, painted with flowers blooming in it.  Both are a charming addition to your home or office, especially on without an actual window.
